Suzanne, Chris, and Elizabeth: Peter was a remarkable young man. We can only hope that your heartache is eventually replaced by the wonderful memories of Pete's life. We will never forget Pete, and he will always be our favorite "Silent Partner."

I am so sorry about the loss of this fine young man. I instantly remembered the many times I saw Peter walking through the hallways of Sandy Run. His wide open smile and musical skill on the piano are two things about Peter that I recall fondly. Teachers remember the good kids and I know that so many of us in Upper Dublin will keep our happy memories of Peter and his days with us in our hearts.

Peter was a wonderful and kind young man who in his willingness to share with others pays real tribute to his parents and community with whom he was raised. I had the pleasure of seeing him occasionally as he grew up and just last year had him humble me (and his Dad) on the golf course - it is a testament to someone's character and kind nature that you are happy to lose to someone so genuine and fun to be with! He lives on in many people today, and his memory is a blessing.

Dear Chris, Suzanne and Elizabeth. Chris and I (and The boys) were shocked and so sad to hear about Peter. We can't begin to imagine what you are going through. When we met Peter last year, we were both impressed by what a lovely young man he had turned into. He was so friendly, easy to talk to with a great sense of humour. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Love Jenny and Chris.xxxx

The Janssen C.R.E.A.Te editorial group wants to express its deepest feelings of sympathy for the family. It shouldn't happen that people are taken away in such a brutal way at the summit of their youth. We wish you all the strength you will need.

Sadly we only met Peter twice once when he was a young boy visiting England with his family. The last time was in Feb 2011 when he made a short trip with his father and we had the pleasure of his company for the weekend. My 10 year old son was in awe and my 16 year old daughter chatted animatedly with him about college life in Long Island. He was such an easy young man to chat to and he was so polite and it was such a wonderful weekend. We are so grateful we had that time with him and will remember him often. Our thoughts and prayers are with Chris, Susanna, Elizabeth and their families. X

Peter was the first friend I met at Hofstra during our 2010 summer orientation. He was my suite mate and one of the first people I began to share my Hoftstra experience with. Every time I hear "Daughters" by John Mayer, I think of you, buddy.

Pete will not drink my homemade iced tea or eat the boxed Spongebob mac-n-cheese that he so loved with my daughter, Jenna, but I will always reserve some for him. Such a gentle GIANT, in every way. GOD speed, hugs and kisses, you are safe now.

I never met Peter, but I know his mother and his grandparents, Marilyn and Bob. We have been good friends for many, many years and remember when Peter was born. So much love for him poured from this family and he was a special gem in their eyes. I know his life was bright and there will be many wonderful memories at some point to share about his time here on earth. I grieve for them and wish there was some way to take away the pain.

My memory of Pete is how happy he was to lend his skillful piano playing to our choir rehearsal a few years back, as we prepared for a performance. My heart is breaking reading about Pete's other achievements and community involvement. So much accomplishment in such a short life.... My thoughts and prayers are with you.

We are mourning the loss of a fine young man with unbounded promise. Understanding Gods plan for Peter goes far beyond us. Those of us regulars of the NOON mass have been blessed with Peter's talents and energy over and over, and he has left on indelible imprint on us. May family and friends find comfort in knowing Peter enriched our lives.

Wish this family and the Hofstra chapter the best in these hard times. Although our chapters are separated by distance, the pain of this loss still resounds with brothers across the country.

Pete's loss is a tremendous blow to those that know and love him. He will be remembered for the wonderful, talented young man that he had become. Bad things happen to good people, and Pete was one of the good, no, great ones.
