Tony and I were friends for almost 67 years from kindergarten thru high school. We were fishing buddies along the Schykill and Wissahickon and we often walked along the expressway to Flat Rock Dam. He was a great fisherman and perfected the use of a pencil eraser with a weight on it to detect the nibble of a fish. We also joined the Air Force together and were in basic training in Texas together. Then 6 months at McGuire AFB. We shared a room there, he on the top bunk and I was on the bottom. Many good times I can recall. Tony, rest in peace.

Tony lived a block south of me on Judson Street. Every morning he would knock on my door, and we would walk together to the 60 trolley stop to on our way to Cardinal Dougherty. Tony was one of my best friends growing up. God rest his soul.
