Robert V. Symnoski, of Maple Glen, PA, died on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Abington Hospital. He was 87 years old.
Born in Philadelphia, Bob was the son of the late Vitold and Gertrude (nee Bielesch) Symnoski.
Bob attended Northeast Catholic High School in Philadelphia and received his BS and MS in Engineering from Drexel University. He worked his entire career as a mechanical engineer for Moore Products in Spring House until his retirement in 1992. He also taught Engineering in the evenings at Drexel.
Bob was a parishioner at St. Alphonsus Church. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. Bob loved traveling with his wife and enjoyed planning and completing many elaborate home improvement projects at his home on Howe Lane.
Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife Anna Mae (nee Zimbardi) in 2006. He is the devoted father of Diane S. Duda and her husband Dennis of Lansdale; Ellen C. Daw of Limerick; and David R. Symnoski and his wife Susan of Lafayette Hill. He is the proud and loving grandfather of eight grandchildren (Bryan, Megan, Lauren, Kristen, Kelly, Christopher, Matthew, Daniel).
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at St. Alphonsus Church, 1565 Temple Drive, Maple Glen, PA. The Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM with Rev. Msgr. Brian P. Hennessy as Celebrant. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
