Jay and Tish,
I am so sorry to hear that Mary passed away recently. Needless to say, I have the fondest memories of her (and Jim) as my neighbors in Flourtown as a very young kid growing up. As a 5 year old, I still remember taking my wagon over to her yard to help her with yard work. She had a huge American Sweet Gum Tree (I think I have the right species of tree) in her back yard and she would rake those prickly walnuts that would drop into a pile that I would put my wagon. My reward was usually butter cookies if I remember correctly :) I'm sure I probably made the whole process longer but she always had a smile and I loved her unique laugh. Nothing was better as a kid. My family's yearly visit to Ocean City always included a stop over to Wildwood to see her (and Jim), where laughter and jokes were always common place. Hitting the beach by day, hoagies and sitting on their picnic tables as the sun went down and hitting the boardwalk by night. And a little fishing every now and then with Jim if the tide was right. You had great parents that treated me like a grandson growing up and I will miss them dearly. I always enjoyed talking to my parents after they would visit Mary to see how she was doing. Again, so sorry for your loss.

Jim and Tish,
We were so sorry to hear of Mary's passing. Her positive attitude and delightful sense of humor made all those who came in contact with her a happier person. Rita and I always looked forward to dining with her during our stay at Artman. Mary was an inspiration for Rita and would always make Rita smile. We'll always remember Mary, especially when we're having pepperoni pizza! God Bless!
