To David and Cheryl and Bob and Michelle and your respective families:
Karen and I were thinking back at the good times that we had visiting with you as kids. We really treasured our time in Pennsylvania. We always felt welcome and enjoyed our visits. We remember going to the amusement park and pool nearby, having barbecues in your back yard and playing lots of pinochle! We also loved our trips to Ocean City playing on the boardwalk and getting salt water taffy. We laughed about the time that I ran and tripped and fell on the boardwalk and had splinters in both of my hands. Your dad had one hand and my mom had the other and we sat for about an hour while they picked the splinters out. I’m sure it took a lot of patience on their part.
We feel bad about not being able to attend the service for your dad tomorrow. Please know that we loved him and have fond memories and wish we could be there. Our prayers for comfort and peace are with you as you mourn his loss but also celebrate his life.
Lots of Love from your cousins Diane and Karen.
