I’m so sad to lose a childhood friend. Wendy was a sweet and loving person and a talented artist. I will always remember her laugh, her spirit and the fun times we shared as kids. My heart goes out to her family. You will always be in my heart and memories Wendy!!!❤️🙏🏻

In school we realized we were cousins as my family are Hopwoods. She was always a bright light that helped kids get through the trials of school. I always looked out for her throughout the years. Most recently I helped her with her landlord issues in Pottstown. I helped her establish a fund to get her dream home and stayed in touch with her before I became ill. Wendy fought illness most of her life. Wendy fought and during those difficult years inspired many. She will be missed and I feel like part of me went with her. Thank you Wendy for making me a better person. I will see you again cuz. Love ya

So sad to hear this news. Wendy was one of the 1st people to talk to me when I moved to our high school sophomore year. She was always kind, always made me laugh, and always upbeat. Even when her circumstances kept knocking her down, she had kind things to say to other people. I'm out in Montana these days, but have visited her when I've come through PA. I hope that she's in heaven giving Tim and Sammy lots of love. I will miss her homemade Christmas cards and poetry, her sense of humor and her kindness. I am so sorry for your family's loss. Wendy was a terrific friend all these years. She will be so missed.
