I was sorry to hear that Gary had passed away. I first met Gary in 1972 while working at GE Mobile Radio in Ft. Washington. Through our common interest of the shooting sports, we always kept in touch.
At times, we would meet at the Beagle Club in Aldie.
My condolences to all of his family.

As a member of PPAofPA and NPPPA, I shared many memorable meetings with Gary. He shared all of his fox hound photography work with ne, as we had that activity in common. Gary was always a true gentleman. He will be sorely missed. God speed, Gary.

So sorry to learn that longtime photographer friend Gary had passed. He was a faithful member of the Northeast PA Professional Photographers, and others, and rarely ever missed a meeting. We had shared many happy memories. In addition, he used his excellent woodworking skills to make several wonderful cases for our traveling trophies. Those will continue as a tribute to Gary. He will be greatly missed. Bruce Dart, President, NPPPA

My family and I were saddened to hear of Gary’s passing. We first met Gary when we became neighbors 20 years ago. Gary and I had similar passions around hunting, shooting and the outdoors in general. We had a tradition of spending Christmas Eve together - we all loved hearing Gary’s stories about his adventures from the past year. Unfortunately, our 20 year tradition was interrupted this year due to COVID.

It will not be the same without him. Our thoughts go out to Gary’s family.

With fond remembrance,

David, Kirsten, Andrew, Amanda and John

I met Gary aka Raven, a few years ago at a Cowboy Action Match. It was easy to become friends with Gary and we enjoyed many matches together. We shared a motel room at an overnight cowboy shoot at Elstonville and enjoyed a few liquid refreshments as well as a good meal with other cowboy shooters and a nice serving of pie following the meal. Gary was always a great guy to talk to about numerous subjects but a lot about shooting, bullet casting, trips to Canada and Africa, and of course photography. I was very sad to here of his passing. He will certainly be missed but will always live on in the hearts of all his friends. My heart felt condolences to all of his family.

Our friend Gary was part of a "breakfast club" of guys that meet every Sunday to discuss just about everything. Topics ranged widely, but Gary always managed to work in a little conversation about his beloved Canada, photography, and woodworking. We even talked about shooting every now and then. lol Gary would often bring the authentic Canadian maple syrup and fresh berries to the restaurant and have the cook make us really special pancakes. I had talked with Gary the evening before his passing, and he sounded as normal as he ever did. It was a shock to hear of his passing. We shall miss him a great deal... his absence on Sundays will be felt for a very long time..
My sincerest condolences to you Mary Ann and all your family.
