Karen Diane Lewis, of Lansdale PA, died peacefully on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the Abington-Lansdale Hospital. She was 66 years old.
Born in Philadelphia, Karen was the daughter of the late James and Estelle (nee Maciejewski) Bair.
Mrs. Lewis was a 1972 graduate of Wissahickon High School. She received her Associate's Degree from Montgomery County Community College and attended Philadelphia College of Textiles. She was the Manager of Print Production at Merck, Inc. in West Point, PA, until her retirement in 2017.
Karen was a talented horticulturalist. She enjoyed Japanese Flower Arranging and was the Membership Director for the Northeast Region of Ikebana International. Also a member of the Philadelphia Horticultural Society, she enjoyed landscaping as well as creating beautiful flower arrangements. She loved fashion and clothing, travelling and sightseeing.
Karen is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Michael George Lewis, her dear sister Linda Bair of Lansdale, and nephew Richard Franklin of Greensburg, PA.
Relatives and friends are invited to Karen's Funeral Service on Monday, June 28, 2021 at 10:00AM, with a visitation beginning at 9:30AM at St. Thomas Church, Whitemarsh, 7020 Camp Hill Rd, Fort Washington, PA 19034,. Interment will be in St. Thomas Cemetery, followed by a reception in the church hall at the bottom of the parking lot.
