Helen C. Ciliberto, of Ambler, died peacefully on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 in the Jefferson Abington Hospital in Abington. She was 83 years old.

Born in Philadelphia, Helen was one of ten children of the late Charles and Marie (nee D'Arus) Campbell. She was a 1956 graduate of Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls in Philadelphia. Helen worked for Prudential Insurance as a Customer Service Manager until her retirement in 2003.

Helen loved spending time with her dear family and friends. She looked forward each summer to vacationing in Wildwood Crest with her sister Bernadette and her family. She was an avid reader and game player, and stayed sharp playing Words with Friends, Word Trip and Scrabble. She liked a good card game, especially 500 Rummy. She was an excellent swimmer as a child, and swam at Waterview Park in Germantown. She had a pool at her home, and the children and grandchildren will miss the good times spent swimming and having backyard barbeques with Helen.

Helen was preceded in death by her beloved husband Thomas in 1981. She is the devoted mother of Thomas V. Ciliberto and his wife Joanne, of Royersford; Angela C. Lutz and her husband William E., Jr. of Broad Axe; Anthony "Tony" Ciliberto and his wife Kelly, of Ambler; and Maria Manzo and her husband Robert, of Lansdale. She is the dear Grandmom of Michael, Kristen, Anthony, Sydney, Thomas, Andrew, Julia, Robert, Will, and Jessica. Helen is survived by her sisters, Grace Peterson and Bernadette McAteer, both of Turnersville, NJ, and Jane Brethauer of Naples, FL. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Charles, Marie, James, Claire, Robert, and Jeanne.

CandleAunt Helen will truly be missed. That most beautiful smile and her love of playing games. Always enjoyed every moment in her presence. Every time we think of her it makes us smiles. Rest in Peace, Aunt Helen and thank you for all the wonderful memories. Love, Terri, Brian, Nicole, Michael & Shannon.

We became neighbors 31 years ago and I will always remember how you and Nina C welcomed us into the neighborhood and made it feel like home. You were there for all my many many pool questions and always had a smile on your face. You are a beautiful person and will be missed dearly by us all.
RIP Mrs. C Love The Hummel Family
