AWARD WINNING “VOICES OF GRIEF” DOCUMENTARY
RSVP TODAY 215-646-8556
Have you ever asked yourself any of these questions:
Shouldn’t I be done with grief by now?
Why do I get angry when I’m told my loved one is in a better place?
Am I ever going to feel better or is my life always going to be like this?
What’s appropriate to say to others who are grieving?
If you have, please rest-assured you are not alone. When it comes to grief, there is no playbook. Most of us learn about it through a combination of religion, movies, TV, books, family, and observation of others.
Until you experience grief, you can’t really begin to understand how it feels. Then, even if you have felt grief, you still won’t know how someone else’s grief feels. That’s because everyone’s grief is as unique as their fingerprints.
When all of this is factored in, it’s no wonder we have so many questions about whether or not we are grieving right. Fortunately, there is now an award-winning film titled, Voices of Grief, that addresses these topics head-on.
Here at Urban Funeral Home we are pleased to offer the first-ever Philadelphia-area screening of Voices of Grief followed by a discussion. We hope you will join us as we explore how grief changes your life but doesn’t have to end it.
Please check our calendar for the date and times and upcoming events.
